Graduating from New York University School of Medicine in 1986, Dr. Foitl went on to complete his residency training in pathology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1990. Following this, Dr. Foitl completed a residency in internal medicine in 1992 at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His final residency training was completed in 1995 at New York Hospital Cornell University Medical Center, where Dr. Foitl focused his studies on dermatology.
After his schooling and residencies, Dr. Foitl opened his private practice, Sutton Place Dermatology, specializing in dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
